My reasons why I love the Kettlebell:
It provides everything I need in one package, I can literally hit Strength, Endurance, Cardio, Flexibility and Mobility…all in one workout!
You can always change up the workouts and will never get bored. I actually look at some of my workouts as a form of meditation and productive bonding between my mind and my body.
They don’t take up almost any space and can be used anywhere. Outside, Inside, in your living room, a beach, or your front lawn. (I have lifted Kettlebells in some pretty cool places)
The workouts literally make my life so much easier! Bending to empty the dishwasher, carrying a piece of furniture, picking up my kids, wrestling with my dog, scooping my tired wife off the couch to carry her to bed for the night, picking something up at an awkward angle. It makes my everyday life so much easier because the movements strengthen the muscles that we all use to function in everyday life.
If you follow a good clean eating plan, you will develop a perfect physique that isn’t just all show and no go! You will have a very proportionate body that shows off every muscle (especially your abs and shoulders) AND will have amazing endurance with any strenuous tasks that come your way. They say you can’t have your cake and eat it too. But you can lift your Kettlebell and look great too. Moral of the story: Kettlebells over cake. Unless it’s a carrot cake in the shape of a Kettlebell. Just workout first!
I originally only wanted to learn the strength secrets of the Kettlebell and why everyone said they were so brutal. I ended up finding a lifestyle from it.
